Overall best-dressed at the 2012 Oscars

Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford.

Three words: Futuristic, elegant, sleek.

Although critics are slamming Paltrow for this look, I was IN LOVE. She looked so effortlessly perfect in that gown and showed off her slammin' bod while presenting on stage. Jealous.

Steve Madden saves me from snow.

So, Steve Madden had a HUGE clearance sale last weekend, and I couldn't help but browse around online. Then, I found THESE babies for literally $7. Crazziness. Anyways, I was surprised I fell in love with them because overall I'm not a huge UGG fan, and these are somewhat similar. Either way they are amazingly comfortable, perfect to keep my feet dry from this crazy wet/dry winter here in Milwaukee, and have that Boho/Indian detail with the design. Overall, winning Wednesday.

Happy Hump-Day!

Manolo Blahnik for J.Crew!

This past Tuesday during NYFW, J.Crew announced that they have collaborated with Manolo Blahnik for their Fall 2012 collection. Exciting news because the luxury shoe line has never gone down this "low" end road before. Too bad all the shoes are still like a bagillionnnn dollars; $595-695. Looks like I'll have to keep my dreams of owning a pair of these iconic beauties still in the future.

&& speaking of J.Crew, did you know that you get 15% EVERYTHING when you show a student ID. Yah, awesome. I was just informed of this like a month ago. Wish someone told me sooner!!

Happy V-day!!

So here I am, all alone on Vday; just like millions of others around the globe. Funny thing is, however, I have a wonderful bf who tends to work too much :( BUT, don't freight. I've got plenty to keep me busy!!

1. For starters, I have my other boyfriend Charles Shaw to keep me happy and warm. Necessity. Also, I am planning on watching the depressing, yet romantic Atonement later; duhhhh.. I'm not sure why I'm so obsessed with this film, besides the amazing actors there's just something that keeps me re-watching! Maybe it's that damn green dress!

Jacqueline Durran gown (where can I get one?!)

2. If you haven't gotten a copy of MKA's book Influence I suggest you hit up Amazon asap. This book is full of photos, quotes, interviews, and more to keep its' readers inspired...

3. Sooo, before Atonement I shall finish watching Georgia Rule, which I happened to find flipping through the TV. Ahhh, only movie Lohan did well besides Parent Trap?!?

4. My wine :)

5. Still, another one of my many boyfriends who I love dearly. Chester, my chinchilla, is here to watch the movies with me of course! Hello darling.

Annnnnd, exciting stuff huh?!?

What are youuuu up to tonight?!?
